Uniform

We encourage all pupils to wear our simple, smart uniform, which is practial and which helps to promote a 'ready-to-learn' approach to the school day.

 

Our uniform comprises:

White or blue shirt, polo shirt or blouse

Dark blue jumper, cardigan or fleece

Black or grey trousers (not leggings or jeans)

Black or grey shorts

Black or grey skirt

Blue check gingham dress

Black, grey or white tights

Black, grey or white socks

Smart black shoes.These must be closed-toed and hard-soled without flashing lights. Only closed-toed sandals may be worn during the warmer months.

 

PE Kit

Indoor

White T-shirt (plain, no logo)

Black shorts (plain, no logo)

Black, white or grey socks

Black or white trainers (plain colours only)

 

Outdoor (In addition to the Indoor kit)

Black or dark blue tracksuit trousers

Plain, dark, single coloured sweatshirt (black, navy, grey).

Please note, hoodies are not acceptable for school uniform or PE uniform.

A bookbag is recommended for carrying books, homework, letters and other materials to and from school. Rucksacks and bags are also acceptable, providing they can be hung on a school peg.

Please make sure that all clothing is clearly marked with your child's name.

Personal Property

Valuables such as toys, electrical equipment, jewellery (except watches) should not be brought to school unless they have been specifically requested by the class teacher.

Earrings

In the interests of children's health and safety only studs should be worn in pierced ears. The child must be able to remove them unaided for PE lessons. This is in line with Local Authority guidance.

Lost Property

Unnamed items of clothing and equipment will be kept in the lost property aread adjacent to the school office and occasionally displayed for children or parents to claim. Please name everything clearly; if it is named we can return it promptly.
