Community Partners

Schools

As part of The Cam Academy Trust we have strong partnerships with the other Trust primary phase schools:

We are also part of the HAPP [Huntingdon Area Primary Partnership], which is made up of the schools who feed into St Peter's School and Hinchingbrooke School. Together we provide opportunities to develop and support each other through Teaching and Learning Continuous Professional Development [CPD] opportunities and issues arising within the community.

The school works closely with each of the partner schools throughout the year with a varied schedule of training and development opportunities for staff and joint events and activities for students.

Community

Learning doesn’t stop when children step outside the classroom as they take something new from every interaction they experience. There are a wealth of clubs and activities available in our school depending on the time of year and the current circumstances that can further support your child’s learning, whether socially or to nurture a particular skill/talent. Use the links below to explore what is on offer. Whatever your child’s interests, we hope you will find something they can enjoy.

Adult Learning

We believe learning is a lifelong process. Every member of staff at our school is always learning more and more about their profession to make them even better at the jobs they do. With Cambridge Regional College's Huntingdon campus on our doorstep, the timing is perfect for you to learn a new skill. Click here to reach the ‘adult learning’ section of their website for details of courses or hobbies that you could take up with your friends.

Local Community

Throughout the year we engage with many local partners through activities in the community, from singing for charity to visits to the local Olympic gym and other providers e.g The King Of The Belgians Public House for our whole School Sparky Start 'Park Life' Walk.

Other Partners

The school works closely with many outside agencies to ensure we provide an inclusive environment for all. Therefore we welcome the support from local Behaviour & Inclusion Services e.g. Inclusive-Development , CHUMS, CAMH, The Emotional Health and Well-being team and the Acorn Trust, who all support children with emotional health and well-being.

Some of our children wok closely with specialists from the Local Authority depending on their particular needs.
